Why does my clown fish stay at the top of the tank

Is he sick? I saw him in the bag and then in the community tank with the other fish. After I picked him out and took him home to my nano 15G, he keeps simming on the top of the water. He hasn't gone under to explore the rocks or by the sand. My Chromis, swams around and under the rock after I acclimated him but not my Clown. Do you think he has a problem breathing? Do you think he is going to get sick with that disease where their skin peels off and leaves open wounds?

He wiggles vertically half the time. I've had him since day 1. If you have enough water movement, then he should be ok. We would need more info on your tank, parameters, etc to make any better guesses if he is sick.

But clowns are clowns, like jc said. My clowns always act dopey One minute they look dead while the next theyre playing with my fans That's totally normal from what I've seen of clowns throughout the years. Especially at night, they just float in a corner, wiggling once in a while to stay there.
