Trump was accused of complicity in the Russian interference in the presidential election of However, he was acquitted of both charges by the Senate in February Joe Biden officially became the 46th President of the United States of America on the 20th of January after defeating incumbent Donald Trump in the Presidential election. Biden spent over 35 years in the Senate before becoming the running mate for 44th President of the United States, Barack Obama.

He spent 8 years as Vice President. At the age of 78 when getting elected, Joe Biden has taken the crown from Trump as the oldest person elected to the office of the President. When his first term is over, he will also be the first serving US President over the age of Biden ran for the Democratic nomination two times, in and in , before finally winning the nomination and then the election in James Berridge did an incredible job restoring and colorizing 26 of the US Presidents featured in this article.
