BC2 also features expansive maps, giving a sniper rifle a purpose, something no CoD has ever been able to really do, vehicles to dominate some battles and help out the team, two fabulous objective based modes, a TDM mode, lush maps, ghillie suits that do something, and a great class system. CoD is fast paced, but the amount of host migrations, cord pulls this especially , and pre-teens keeps it out of the Playstation most of the time, unless I'm feeling Zombies or none of my friends happen to be playing BC2.

If my buddy hadn't bought it, I'd have never even given it a try. The atmosphere in bc2 just feels so much more realistic.
Having vehicles on the field changes the style of play entirely. I've been playing Black Ops alot more than BC2 lately, but mostly because of the stat bug. I can't stand it. I'd much rather deal with the migrating hosts than constantly have to restart the game to get my weapons to load up restarting the game from the XMB will usually fix the stat bug, but it's still annoying.
I don't get many of the 'connection interrupted' failures that people talk about, I've only had that happen a few times. Blops doesn't require nearly the amount of strategy or teamwork that bc2 does. There are alot more people using mics in bc2, most of the time in Blops I take my headset off cause there is no one to talk too, or it's just someone blaring their radio in the background.
If they ever get the stat bug fixed then maybe I'll go back to bc2, but until they do I'm sticking with Black Ops. Ha gunship? All you can do is go left right forward and backwards. Accepted Answer. I highly recomend getting Black Ops. Its Treyarch's best CoD but you should expect hackers and people who play all day. Both Jack and Captainev have a great point on your gamer style. Other Answers.
