Supporting Population Control Recognizing the relevance of population control on healthcare and health outcomes and the adverse impact of population growth on healthcare service delivery, the PHC has been proactively collaborating with relevant stakeholders to promote population control measures.

Challenges encountered by both sides were discussed in depth and it was decided that subsequent meetings would be held to develop a consensus on the way forward. Held at a local hotel in Multan on 21st August, the seminar was attended by representatives of 14 HCEs from districts Vehari and Multan, in addition to 5 internal and external surveyors of PHC.

Collaboration with Stakeholders On 27th July, the PHC participated in a meeting of the DEAG, where the current situation was discussed, along with a threat assessment based on the season, implications of the weather, etc.

Orientation for GPs on Disease Reporting A meeting was held on 25th June , in coordination with key stakeholders, including leadership from GPs and family physicians. It was decided that all stakeholders would forward their comments to the PWD for revision in the draft bill. Registered carers must be over 18 or can be under 18 if they hold a child care qualification. Child Care Benefit for Registered Care Child Care Benefit for registered care is paid at a standard hourly rate for up to 50 hours per child per week if: You and your partner are working, looking for work, training, or studying at some time in the week that care is provided or You and your partner have an exemption from that requirement To qualify for Child Care Benefit for registered care, you do not have to meet an income or assets test.

To claim Child Care Benefit for registered care you need to download the claim form and lodge with receipts within 12 months of the care being provided.

In the case of divorced parents, if you have sole residential custody, only the parent with custody may claim, but if you have joint residential custody you may claim for the days of the week that you are deemed Primary Carer. This can also include grandparents who are primary carers.
